Kansas City's Big Picnic

The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art is the host of Kansas City’s largest picnic, held each year in the sculpture park. Big Picnic is a family-friendly summer celebration that brings the community together through art and creativity. This identity proposal, titled “Create Your Play,” encourages children to create their own artwork and sculpture park to take home. Deliverables included program materials, event map, engagement activity, social media graphics, and signage.

Designed in collaboration with colleagues Joshua Madrid and Baillie Wiebers.
